Don’t Buy Stationary.
At school, uni, workplace there is no reason to buy your own stationary. Start the year with a pencil case. And through out the year, collect, borrow and find pens, pencils, scissors, glue, rulers etc. You’ll end up with more stationary than everyone else. At the end of the year, chuck it all out and start again with fresh stationary.

I don’t even bother bringing my own drinks to parties. Everyone brings shit loads of drinks anyway, they’re all drunk. Why not take advantage.
Be nice, as they go off to get a drink, ask politely if they can grab you one. Look out for easy targets. ie., drunk people. If not, just be sneaky and grab some.
